Does this include the subscriber only part or is that coming later?

I've watched the free part of the Stoller interview - which I found really insightful - wanted to see the rest so I came here and subscribed to watch it, but apparently it hasn't been published yet?

I love the show but the launch of episodes are very confusing, at least for me. Here is my thoughts (although you did not ask). Subscriber only content should be launched at the same time as the free so that it is easy to choose. The same thing with audio and video versions unless there is some urgency. Other than that everything is perfect :-)

Love you guys, I know we’re still getting the hand of things here, but i’m again not sure if I saw the entire thing or where to find the other part if there is one, or if it’s coming later. Substack takes some getting used from the audience perspective (like account log-ins or finding what you’re subscribed to), so not sure if i’m missing it. But so far I’ve found one 56 min show in two separate posts and video links, and also one audio/podcast that’s the same. Is that right and the other part is coming later?

I'm hoping panquake.com gets off the ground before everything is shut down (censored). Check it out and contribute if you can. It offers real hope. The brilliant William Binney is involved in the creation.

Very important question. Where can I get a TK hat like the one Matt has?

love y'all, been following & subscribing you both for a way long. excited about the transfer to substack, glad the show is continuing. i got disappointed with the first ellsberg recording and was worried the video wouldn't be part of the whole thing. y'all spoiled me i guess, became our friday night happy hour kinda show during covid lockdown. but i'm surprised the video is not embedded thru substack subscription -- the youtube videos are the entire podcast, so not sure how you can improve the incentive to subscribe if the shows are still posted free? @misterslaw

Useful Idiots: House of the Rising Sun, i.e. you have been cast into the gutter, etc.

Substack is a good place to make a sort of "stand". It has enough people with solid credentials & many of these have enough personal cash and/or influence to ride out the rough spots. Will we be able to defend this "ground"? In the long term, no. It will get bought out at some point, will be branded with a damn "A", or will be rendered useless through additional economic or political pressures. The key is to build up a bit & move on when you can't hold the space anymore for whatever reason. Substack is one step on the journey to solid ground. Who knows what that looks like. Maybe people will return to print-based media, but I agree with Hedges that this is doubtful. It might not even be desirable. 40 years in the desert, etc. My guess is many of these next steps will look like Substack clones/variations.

Of course the best comparison for Cruz is Grandpa from “The Munsters”. The vampire. The only question left as far as Cruz goes is that, if push had come to shove (ha ha) in 2016, would he have let Trump assault his wife if that’s what the party demanded of him. One of the most hilarious Cruz videos shows him walking through a store, a rando citizen screams “fuck off’ or something, & he’s like “Thank you sir!”

“It’s hard to keep up with Katie’s sex drive” is what her local mortician keeps saying. As far as the story, if the girlfriend keeps rubbing the guy down with oils etc. then the chances of him going flaccid decrease significantly.

I’m pro anti-trust, but IMO the best way to understand the pressures they put on tech company heads is of course to look at the case against Gates/Microsoft. From what I have seen .gov often abuses anti-trust in order to accomplish some other objective, such as bringing these companies/individuals in line.

Great show & a lot more that could be commented on, but this post is already too long. Keep it up!

I like the shorter format of around an hour. There's an infinite amount of content but how much do we really need? Surveillance advertising has been discussed a lot on Swisher's pods but hearing Matt Stoller's thoughts help a lot.

Congrats on the new space.

Matt and Katie, I would love to get in touch with you about volunteering to do editorial designs and animations.

I too worked in media, for HuffPost, Courier, Vice and had bad experiences due to similar views as yours.

I don't want to work for these ass hats anymore. I was tired of designing pro Democrat work and only attacking Trump, and got shunned when discussing corruption on the left.

Would love to share some recent work I did for the election thats not on my site. But below is some of my work...

Cheers and thank you for what you do!
